Is Facebook a monopoly? The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) thinks so and it has filed a new complaint against the company after a federal judge rejected an earlier filing. The new suit alleges that Facebook “used anticompetitive acquisitions of Instagram and WhatsApp to further its monopoly power and that it also unfairly blocked rivals from accessing its application programming interface (API).” What will happen?
