Background
Duolingo’s mission is to develop the best education in the world and to make it universally available. Its fun Smartphone app provides free language-learning curriculums in 40 languages and has been downloaded globally more than 500 million times. From Spanish to Swahili, it offers something for everyone for only $84 per year (or its ad-supported app is available for free).
Duolingo is prodigiously using machine learning to comprehend how people learn things in multiple languages. This gives it the unique optionality to expand into new ventures like translation software, AI assistant comprehension, or bespoke education lesson plans. It has recently expanded beyond just language learning, with new ventures like Duolingo Math, Duolingo ABC (for early childhood literacy), and Duolingo Music now offered as free downloads that can also be easily integrated into the main Duolingo app.

Yet another way that Duolingo is at the forefront of AI.
