The US recently unveiled its plans for the $2 trillion CARES Act, which is the largest stimulus package in American history. In the first segment of this podcast, our advisor team digs into what the CARES Act will mean for investors.

In our second segment, we look at four developing trends that are significantly impacting the business world. We then identify both the winners and the losers that we anticipate arising from these trends.

  • Digital Presence: Why is edge computing important? And how is it redefining companies’ online operations?
  • Automotive: How are electric vehicles disrupting the auto industry? And what will it mean for Tesla?
  • Media: How is digital streaming changing traditional media? And what are content providers doing to adapt?

And in our final segment, the team introduces a new game of “Bullish or Bearish”. Simon asks/forces each of his advisors to share their unscripted thoughts about a given topic, where “bullish” means they’re a fan and “bearish” means they’re not. The topics described cover a wide variety of futuristic prognostications: from cloud computing and blockchains to the Jetsons and space tourism.
